    • Cost per door is only £3.50 per month, or £30.00 annually if invoiced at the beginning of the contract (plus VAT) – prices subject to change

    Hinges

    Hinges need to be in good working order so we visually inspect their condition, check the tightness of fixing and apply light machine oil where required.

    Overhead Closers

    To ensure door closes fully from open position and latches fully in to the striking plate where relevant a visual inspection is carried out. Tightness of fixings are checked and any foreign material removed from moving parts. Light machine oil is applied to moving parts at bracket and arm knuckle.

    Floor Springs

    Again, with this important hardware we visually inspect the floor spring to ensure door closes and latches to the striking plate. Pivot points and moving parts are cleared of any debris.

    Lockcases

    We check for tightness of fixings on strike plates and forends and that the lockcase operates correctly. Any debris or dirt is removed from latch bolts and they are lubricated if necessary with light machine oil.

    Cylinders

    Cylinders are visually inspected and lubricated if necessary with approved cylinder spray or graphite.

    Lever handles are always well-used so we check tightness of fixings and check for correct operation of lever handle.

    All other ironmongery and pull handles are visually inspected and fixings tightened if necessary.

    Smoke seals are an important part of fire doors. We ensure all intumescent seals on fire doors comply with regulations.

    On visual inspection of emergency exit hardware we check operation ensuring tightness of fixings and compliance with regulations. We also ensure the exit is clear of obstruction.
